As the German economy stabilizes in the mid-1920’s, after the Great War, it’s citizens are trying to get their lives and finances back in order. During this time there are two rival political factions that exist in the country – The Nazi Party and The Red Front. The Red Front are a Communist organization while the Nazis espouse a Nationalist and Fascist ideal; both are at ideological loggerheads and often clash in the streets.

After the events of the previous issue, Johann Schmidt is fending for himself in the streets when he comes across a group of young thugs led by a boy named Bormann who ‘runs’ that particular street. After their confrontation, Johann escapes and encounters a Jewish family. Lying about his past, they take him in as a guest; this impresses Bormann enough to make him a part of his gang.

Title:Learning To Fly

In the 23rd century, humanity is fighting a new kind of battle. This battle is not only fought with hi-tech weaponry and vessels, but across time itself. A Temporal Attack Craft can engage an enemy anywhere and anywhen!

The Red Wing are the cadets who command the TAC and fight back the enemy wherever they can. All of The Red Wing carry temporal beacons so that they can be located in case they crash in a different time. The beacon also shields the cadet from the ravages of time, which will ensure their swift death. There is one major caveat – if their beacon runs out of power or the power cell is damaged, the shield disappears.

Close up photos of Batman vs Bane from The Dark Knight Rises

Yesterday we posted images of Tom Hardy as Bane from Christopher Nolan’s Batman: The Dark Knight Rises. Well, today more photos have surfaced. This time we catch the hero and villain trading blows! These images come courtesy of ComicBookMovie.com.

Shooting on location in Pittsburgh, PA in late July, it must get pretty hot in those costumes. The fake snow doesn’t make it any cooler either.

New Photos of Tom Hardy as Bane

Tom Hardy is in full costume when he takes a break while on the set for The Dark Knight Rises on Saturday July 30, 2011 in Pittsburgh, Penn.

He looks to be standing on a camouflaged Tumbler which, I’m assuming, is also featured in the film. The coat and the costume both look very strange, but I’m sure there’s a good reason for them.

New Art Pages from DC’s The New 52 Relaunch

As usual, Bleeding Cool seems to get the first scoop on everything worthwhile in the comics industry. Taking the QR codes from each of the new DC in-house ads for several new relaunch titles led to pages on DC’s servers with unseen art on them.

Here are the pages that they managed to find. Some of them are original artwork scans.

Title: Five Funerals & a Bucket of Blood – part three

Website: Skullkickers.com

Skullkickers is a book about two traveling mercenaries, a big bald guy and a short bearded dwarf, looking to make an honest living by getting paid for killing things – or people – they’re not very discerning. Things don’t often go as planned when it comes to these two, actually things never go as planned. Shorty and Baldy, as they’re affectionately known, tend to make a simple situation quite complicated and usually deadly.

In Five Funerals & a Bucket of Blood, the duo are wrongly set up as murderers by a group of faeries who have a beef with Urbia, the Capital city. Baldy and Shorty meet up with a den of thieves and their leader Pankey – who Baldy unsuccessfully tries to kill. This leads to a fight to the death with a horned ape in a battle pit inside the thieves’ den. As we see right at the start of this issue, the ape didn’t fare too well against Baldy.
