Yesterday we posted images of Tom Hardy as Bane from Christopher Nolan’s Batman: The Dark Knight Rises. Well, today more photos have surfaced. This time we catch the hero and villain trading blows! These images come courtesy of ComicBookMovie.com.
Shooting on location in Pittsburgh, PA in late July, it must get pretty hot in those costumes. The fake snow doesn’t make it any cooler either.

He looks to be standing on a camouflaged Tumbler which, I’m assuming, is also featured in the film. The coat and the costume both look very strange, but I’m sure there’s a good reason for them.

As usual, Bleeding Cool seems to get the first scoop on everything worthwhile in the comics industry. Taking the QR codes from each of the new DC in-house ads for several new relaunch titles led to pages on DC’s servers with unseen art on them.

The latest issue of Empire Magazine features more photos from the upcoming Judge Dredd movie starring Karl Urban. The photos also include Olivia Thirlby as Judge Anderson and Lena Headey as Madeline Madrigal aka “Ma-Ma”, the main villain of the film.
ComicVine is a site that never ceases to amaze with the amount of information they collect and make available to the entire fan community. This time they’ve gone above and beyond with the sheer number of San Diego Comic-Con 2011 cosplay pictures they have on their site – a total of 1,143 photos!

Back in May 2011, Marvel announced the end of Greg Pak’s run on Incredible Hulks and the cancellation of the title. Like most Marvel titles lately, all you have to do is wait a few months and they’ll come back as a newly numbered series with a fresh creative team. This time it’s The Incredible Hulk #1 written by Jason Aaron and illustrated by Marc Silvestri due out in December 2011.
Well, as promised, the secret “Reborn” title was announced at the San Diego Comic-Con on Saturday July 23rd. Cable: Reborn by Jeph Loeb and Ed McGuinness will resurrect the popular Marvel character in December.
Comic-Cons are never short on cosplayers, and at the San Diego Comic-Con – being the largest of them all – you’re sure to be surrounded by them! FOX40 KTXL-TV in Sacramento, CA took it upon themselves to run a gallery of 100 images of the Babes of Cosplay.
Being a diligent reporter, I couldn’t pass up this story. Here are a few of the women cosplayers that the intrepid reporters at FOX news documented. You can view the entire 100 image photo gallery at FOX40 News.
This past weekend at the San Diego Comic-Con, Marvel revealed concept art posters for their upcoming Marvel’s The Avengers film. The full concept art image is broken down into 7 small poster images featuring all of the heroes of the film. From left to right: Black Widow, Iron Man, The Hulk, Captain America, Thor, Hawkeye, Nick Fury and S.H.I.E.L.D..

On Thursday, July 21st, DC previewed more interior artwork at their Batman panel at SDCC. The artwork is from the following books: BATMAN, BATMAN: THE DARK KNIGHT, BATMAN AND ROBIN, BATWING, BATWOMAN, CATWOMAN, DETECTIVE COMICS, NIGHTWING and RED HOOD AND THE OUTLAWS.
