Whether it’s creating the costume from scratch, altering the appearance of an existing one, or just getting into character, these performers spend a lot of time and effort on their craft. As much as we all enjoy seeing our favorite fictional characters represented in real life, let’s not forget the behind-the-scenes work that goes into that portrayal.

Alan Robert, bassist & songwriter for the hard rock band Life of Agony, is again releasing his latest creator-owned comic book, “The Shunned One” through IDW Publishing in 2014.

Robert’s hit series Crawl to Me is now in development to become a feature film with a screenplay written by T.J. Cimfel and David White.

Life of Agony bassist/songwriter Alan Robert teams up with award-winning publisher IDW Publishing once again to release another creator-owned horror comic miniseries The Shunned One in 2014.

Robert’s upcoming tale of winged woe focuses on an Angel of Death who goes rogue after being ordered to take several innocent lives. This guilt-ridden death angel begins to carry out his own judgment on humans, based on their actions instead of whether their names appear on the preordained Death List. The Angel’s unsanctioned murders instantly alter the balance within the universe and trigger a string of unforeseen disasters that spiral out of control. The buzz over Lou Ferrigno’s award-winning superhero short film LIBERATOR (www.liberatormovie.com), which continues to pack houses at film festivals and comic conventions, and has won two Best Picture awards along the way, has skyrocketed with news of Bluewater Comics’ launch of the “Liberator” comic book series.
