For those of you who have endured the painful Sly Stallone version of Judge Dredd, the time has finally come to purge those memories.

Written by 28 Days Later‘s Alex Garland and directed by Pete Travis, Dredd 3D stars Karl Urban (Star Trek) and Olivia Thirlby (Juno). Rest assured that Karl Urban never takes off his helmet in the film – not once. And although the big shoulder eagles are missing from their uniforms, I’m confident that the Judges in this film will be just like their counterparts from the printed pages of 2000AD.
