I’ve always admired tattoos and the very talented tattoo artists whose work adorns many people skin across the globe. Although I’ve yet to get a single tattoo myself, I always get inspired to do so whenever I see such amazing work.
It’s been a while since we’ve posted any new comic book tattoos on our site, and there have been a lot of new pieces floating around on the internet. This is just a small selection of what we’ve run across.

Issues like this really get me excited. Wait… not in that looking at girls in bikinis kind of way (my apologies to all my bikini wearing girl readers. I didn’t mean to creep you out or anything just then. I promise not to stare at you. I swear!). I mean, excited that there’s some really cool stuff up and coming. And because there’s so much to talk about, I’m splitting this would be “one and done” article into two parts. First the comics, then products. Sound good? Then away we go…

I’ll tell you what, DC Direct is really hitting it out of the park with these New 52 figures. The sculpts and paints on these figures is probably some of the best I’ve seen. They’ve really done some nice work on this line.

I started seriously collecting comics in my early 20’s. I managed to get a few books here and there in my pre-teen years, but it wasn’t really until my 20’s and Batman’s return after Bane broke his back that I really got into it collecting comics.
One of the greatest things I discovered about my local comic shop? Previews. I flippin love this book. Say what you will about Diamond Distributors. I’m sure it’s all true. But for me? I love getting a hold of this book every month.

I can’t really say I’ve got my finger on the pulse of the comics community. I try and keep up with THE news and such, but… you know. Things happen. Things like… Li’l Gotham (now that’s what we in the biz call a “segue”). This one almost got under my radar. Almost. And thank the maker it didn’t. Because, this is a great li’l (get it? “Li’L”?!?) book.
